Location: Genesee Waterways Center
Bring: water bottle, hat or visor  
Wear: spandex/exercise shorts, tight fitting/wicking shirt

COVID-19 Precautions:
Participants will:
*Complete an online daily health screening
*Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds upon arrival
*Wear a mask or face coverings on when not rowing
*Keep social distance ( at least six feet apart) when not rowing or carrying a boat
*Apply hand sanitizer before getting in to the boat to row
*Retrieve their own oars after the boat docks
*Sanitize their own oars before putting them away
*Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before leaving
*Only have access to the restrooms with outdoor access, and not the inside of the Genesee Waterways Center.

Cleaning supplies and sanitizer will be carried in the coach’s boat, along with the first aid. Boats will be sanitized by coaches in between sessions.

 

 

 

Brighton Crew is open to anyone in grades 7-12 from any school district. No prior rowing experience is required. Excellent cross-training, low injury risk.

Novice: Open to High school students who are new to rowing (participation in a Learn to Row program is not required). Athletes are generally on the Novice team for two competitive seasons before moving to the Varsity Team.

Varsity: Open to High school students who have completed one to two competitive seasons as a Novice.

Modified: Open to Grades 7-8 who are new to rowing. Participation in a Learn to Row program is not required.
