    4. Hospitality message from Becky:  “The last regatta of the Fall season is coming up this weekend!  It is a “home” regatta–no long-distance traveling J–so please come help out at the Hospitality tent.  Eat breakfast at home, but we’ll have AM snacks at the tent.  Lunch will be meatball subs, pasta, and side salads.  Hospitality jobs as well as food donations are available on the SignUp–go check it out. To all of those who have volunteered this season so far – THANKS!In Philly, team members and parents did a fantastic job loading and unloading the bus with all of the hospitality gear as well as setting up and taking down equipment.  Many of the Novice team members were especially helpful!!  Thanks rowers!!

I wanted parents to know that we are using a rotating duty roster so that Varsity and Novice rowers equally share hospitality duties and understand what is expected of them for each regatta. The first responsibility of each rower is to be ready to race, but rowers also help with packing, transport and unpacking.  Parents can help encourage their child to be an active participant and to complete the duties before leaving a practice and/or regatta, as well as help with the duty assignment. Below is a list of the duties for the Pittsford Regatta.  Thanks for your support!”

NOVICE (Avery, Keagan, Sam, Eric, Miles, Drew W., Julia F., Leah): Help pack, set up, take down, unpack tents, ground cloth, blankets, weights.

GIRLS VARSITY PORT  (Aidan, Maddy, Emma Tracey, Celia, Calista, Drew, Archana, Helen): Help pack, set up, take down, unpack grill, griddle, tables, propane. Any parent willing to help cook lunch?

GIRLS VARSITY STARBOARD (Mikayla, Vidhya, Alyssa, Olivia, Aliza, Julia M, Franie, Emma Tabin, Hannah): Help pack, set up, take down, and unpack black & yellow containers and wagon. Parents can sign up to help on the Hospitality team in the morning or afternoon.

VARSITY BOYS (Ellis, Quinn, Cameron, Ryan, Will): Help pack, set up, take down, and unpack coolers, water jugs, food.  It would be great if a parent of a Varsity boy could sign up to help with the water jugs!

  4. End of Season Party?  Are you available to plan/host?  Saturday or Sunday after Pull the Plug?  Another time?  Let me know…
  5. Festival of Ideas:  BRC has been invited to participate in BCSD’s Festival of Ideas on Saturday, 2/23/16, ~12-5pm.  Stay tuned for more info; enthusiastic rowers will be needed to recruit and run the sessions.

    2. Spring Regattas will be same as last year: Mercer, Buffalo, States, Syracuse, Pittsford.
