BRC News 4/10/16: Plan for this week

It might soon feel like Spring!  Click here for Weather.

Thank you, M-Body, for hosting the Modified team’s workout last Tuesday!  Nice move, Coach Liza…finding a way to get the rowers moving!

Practice for all teams will be held at the boathouse, unless coaches announce otherwise.  As usual, coaches will monitor the air temperature, wind and water conditions and decide whether to workout on land or water. Come prepared for anything:  hat, gloves, warm-but-workout-able footwear, layers.  Bring dry clothes to wear home if it’s raining.    Thursday, 4/14, might go later for Novice and Varsity because they’ll be loading the trailer for the regatta trip.

Board Meeting this Wednesday, 4/13, 7:30PM, 93 Southern Parkway.

  1. Please let me know if you have any issues you’d like to discuss.  Meetings are open to all parents/members.  I will summarize some topics in next week’s News.
  2. Thank you to everyone who filled out the volunteer forms at the Parent Meeting…we’ll contact you soon with assignments!

MERCER REGATTA:  Novice/Varsity rowers and parents will receive details about the Mercer Lake Regatta, check spam if you don’t see it.  Please visit the regatta page for more info.

  1. Visit the SignUp Genius to volunteer.  We need 1 more chaperone, more chili, and 2 ANGELS who will help unload the hospitality stuff from the bus when it returns to BHS late Sunday.  These helpers are a godsend to Becky, who has spent the weekend feeding your kids!
  2. Payment is due Wednesday, April 13.  Details on the regatta page.
  3. Uniforms:  Novice should have already ordered their uniform T-shirts.
    1. Click Here to order.  Any problems ordering, please call Athletic Outlet.
    2. Kalpana Janamanchi, Archana’s Mom, has the box of used uniforms:  1 medium boys uni and 3 Varsity long-sleeve Tech shirts: large, medium and small.  Contact her at kjanamanchi@yahoo.com if you’d like one.
      1. Uni’s:  $25,  Tech Shirts: $20
      2. Novice T’s: $
