Winter training is open to boys and girls in grades 7 – 12 from any school districts, not just Brighton. No prior experience is required; many of our participants start out new to rowing. This is a great time to meet coaches, stay in shape over the winter and learn about rowing. For our veteran athletes, winter training is when you prepare for the competitive spring season. In addition to the facilities and training that the JCC has to offer, our BRC coaches will be providing specific coxswain training once a week to help improve general coxswain skills and prepare for the spring season.
